Written,
not melted

Direct ink writing, not filament. Material is pumped as a paste or liquid and written along a path, then cured, which is why the material set stays open.

Why it matters

True composites, not imitations

Filament printing cannot produce a real laminate. Direct ink writing deposits the continuous fibre system itself, not a chopped-fibre substitute.

Continuous flow

No cartridge ceiling

Cartridge-fed systems stop when the cartridge empties, which caps part size. Continuous pumping removes that ceiling entirely.

High-viscosity capability

The hard part of the process

Handling paste-grade viscosity is what makes highly filled and structurally demanding material classes addressable at all.

Why we
built it

We were the people waiting on the parts. Every strong component meant a mould, a vendor and six weeks gone — and if the design changed, you started again. So we built the machine we wished we had: fibre laid where the load goes, foam printed inside the part, no tooling, and a price a lab in India can actually sign off.

An idea to take R&D from lab to road

The entrepreneurial story starts here: get the composite research out of the university and into machines people can actually buy.

June 2025, Incorporation

Makerise Innovations Pvt. Ltd.

After months of planning we incorporated, aiming squarely at advanced-materials 3D printers.

July 2025, Planning

Team building and roadmap

Training, brainstorming, company objectives and the technical roadmap that became Incept-1.

August 2025, Grant & incubation

₹10 lakh prototype development grant

A six-month grant and incubation support to take the concept from lab bench to working prototype.

Aug 2025 to Feb 2026, Early experiments

Building the mechanism and the materials

The flow device, the toolpath software and the material chemistry had to be developed together. None of them worked alone.

March 2026, First prototype

A machine that printed real silicone parts

Presented at the National Additive Manufacturing Symposium, the first working prototype producing parts in silicone.

September 2026, MVP launch

Incept-1 goes into production

Design, DFMEA and launch statistics for the dual-component Incept-1 printers. Early-order units are allocated from this batch.
